The films we showcase often benefit from a German, European, or international premiere status here at the festival, making you their first audience in this part of the world. Many of the filmmakers we showcase go on to become successful internationally, after being part of Down Under Berlin.

Down Under Berlin is run by the non-profit registered association Down Under Berlin e.V. which means that your financial donation can be claimed on your tax return in Germany.
